After 3 played minutes Täfteå BF got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Hylander. Birger Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Torstensson in the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Wictor Wennerberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Birger Gerdberg. After a rather tough play, Gryt's Ingemar Sörman got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Roger Siggman sent off a good shot on target. Joseph Lindberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Siggman got free with Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 played minutes Ronny Nord rounded Täfteå BF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Elof Torstensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Gerdberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Lindberg during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birger Gerdberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wictor Wennerberg's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Roger Siggman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronny Nord was the one to do the kick off. Birger Gerdberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Wennerberg in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Joachim Vik took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Birger Gerdberg to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd minute, Elof Torstensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Birger Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Wennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Täfteå BF's Elof Torstensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Gerdberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Wictor Wennerberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Birger Gerdberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Wictor Wennerberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, one of Täfteå BF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edvard Nyqvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Elof Torstensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Täfteå BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. 90 minutes into the match, Täfteå BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Nord came free, but Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronny Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Nord in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Täfteå BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
