Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Knut Snäll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Odén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Höganäs's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Snäll came free, but Orvar Odén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Knut Snäll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Skytt's late challenge caught a Juniorerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Skytt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juniorerna booed when Höganäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvar Odén made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lars Wennerström sent off a good shot on target. Måns Gallberg struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Sture Andersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Höganäs. Höganäs's Orvar Odén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Snäll in the 21st minute of play. In the 39th minute, Hannes Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Wennerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Orvar Odén made a huge save. Sture Andersson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Höganäs's Gottfrid Lund. But to his dismay, Gottfrid Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Wennerström to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Höganäs got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Lind. Orvar Odén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Snäll in the 67th minute of play. Mats Kullander's late challenge caught a Juniorerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats Kullander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Höganäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Kullander to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes of play Höganäs's Lennart Skytt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lennart Skytt hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Jesper Sörman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Höganäs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ingemar Asserlindh was slow to take the kick. During this time Juniorerna's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ingemar Asserlindh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Höganäs's Orvar Odén did a great save. Höganäs succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Juniorerna had controlled the match.
