Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kim Gustavsson started the match with the kick off. Kristian Berglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Wennerström's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Nils-Erik Axelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Sture Andersson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lars Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vinberg FF's goalkeeper Kristian Berglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Knut Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Berglund having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Erik Axelsson got free with Sture Andersson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agne Söderman charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agne Söderman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Juniorerna's Agne Söderman got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Vinberg FF's Kim Gustavsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sture Andersson. Sture Andersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nils-Erik Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sture Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Kim Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Lars Wennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniorerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Wennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, one of Juniorerna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juniorerna. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Wennerström was the one to do the kick off. Lars Wennerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Kristian Berglund made a huge save. Sture Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Knut Snäll recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristian Berglund. Knut Snäll showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Vinberg FF's zone, Lars Wennerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Berglund came out of the goal and Lars Wennerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vinberg FF's Zebastian Göransson got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Lars Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Johannes Asserlind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Kim Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Berglund having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Juniorerna players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
