The referee ignored Valla's protests and gave Jörn Kullgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Valla got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Kullgren. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Wennerström to strike the kick off in the second half. Sture Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Mårtensson in the 58th minute of the match. Sture Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute Knut Snäll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Lagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valla's Kim Wassenius got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Knut Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Valla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Juniorerna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
