Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gideå IF's Filiph Nordin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gideå IF's Axel Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Grelsson in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Slöinge. Gösta Wallman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Axel Kristiansson. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Slöinge's Gottfrid Håkansson got a free kick in the 15th minute. Paul Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Gideå IF's Axel Kristiansson got control of the ball when Gottfrid Håkansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Slöinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. If Filiph Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match Slöinge got a corner. Gideå IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gösta Wallman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gideå IF's goalie and right to Per-Olof Tidén. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gideå IF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Slöinge getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mikael Sjöberg hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Jansson in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Sundström saved Slöinge from getting behind. If Jörgen Grelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gideå IF's zone, Jörgen Grelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Kristiansson came out of the goal and Jörgen Grelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gottfrid Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Slöinge's Axel Kristiansson threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jörgen Grelsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Marcus Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Grelsson to make the kick off. 71 minutes into the match, Gideå IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Håkansson came free, but Axel Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Filiph Nordin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paul Sundström. That made the score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play. Axel Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Axel Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Grelsson in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Håkansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Axel Kristiansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Slöinge's Gottfrid Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gottfrid Håkansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axel Kristiansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gottfrid Håkansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jörgen Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Slöinge had won after a very even match.
