Stig-Åke Sundström hit a great ball. Andréas Vesterberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderqwist having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Kilstedt in the 8th minute of play forced FC Noll Koll's goalkeeper Håkan Söderqwist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Alvar Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda's Vincent Markusson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kristoffer Kilstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Håkan Söderqwist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Brenner hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The Östra Frölunda fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Östra Frölunda's Andréas Vesterberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kristoffer Kilstedt took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Söderqwist. Håkan Söderqwist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Noll Koll's zone, Andréas Vesterberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Söderqwist came out of the goal and Andréas Vesterberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Östra Frölunda's Kristoffer Kilstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andréas Vesterberg in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Håkan Söderqwist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 54 played minutes FC Noll Koll got a freekick which was hit by Pål Sillén. Östra Frölunda's Yngve Pilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Classon in the 57th minute of play. Kristoffer Kilstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderqwist having to interfere. After 68 minutes Östra Frölunda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stig-Åke Sundström who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Ove Tunander during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, FC Noll Koll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Tunander to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Söderqwist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Kilstedt in the 73rd minute of the match. Gert Joensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yngve Pilberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Östra Frölunda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Noll Koll:s goal. In the 84th minute, Simon Erserman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Per-Arne Classon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Pilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Sillén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Noll Koll's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stig-Åke Sundström in the 95th minute. The corner led FC Noll Koll's Pål Sillén to a score. 2-3 in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Östra Frölunda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
