Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Hellqvist started the match with the kick off. Jens-Åke Zander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Elg having to interfere. Karl-Åke Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Gustafsson in the 8th minute of the match. Peder Hultman's late challenge caught a IFK Göteborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peder Hultman helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Höllviken got a freekick which was hit by Peder Hultman. After recieving a nice pass, IFK Göteborg's Gösta Löfskog tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Karl Hellqvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Hellqvist couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Höllviken's Jens-Åke Zander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Elg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Söder having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, IFK Göteborg's Karl Hellqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Åke Söder was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Aron Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Åke Zander in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Elg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 minutes of play, IFK Göteborg's Karl Hellqvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Åke Söder was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Zander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Åke Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Hellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rdth minute of the game Karl Hellqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höllviken's Karl-Åke Söder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Georg Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Zander in the 55th minute of the match. When Aron Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Karl Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl Hellqvist struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Karl-Åke Söder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Göteborg. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Höllviken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karl Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Karl Hellqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Åke Söder. The goal made the score 0-3. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Malte Ödman got a free kick in the 91st minute. Aron Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Karl-Åke Söder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Höllviken fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IFK Göteborg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
