That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Georg Elg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Georg Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Kämpe in the 18th minute of the match. Harry Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IFK Göteborg's Georg Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Kämpe in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Gräddö getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Edgar Åström hit a great ball. Gösta Löfskog was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Harry Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Georg Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Aron Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gräddö's goalkeeper Ingmar Vikström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aron Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ingmar Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melker Ahlroht hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Hellqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Gräddö:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Göteborg:s goal. In the 53rd minute, Gösta Löfskog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Göteborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Aron Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Aron Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Karl Hellqvist put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ingmar Vikström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Hellqvist in the 71st minute of play forced Gräddö's goalkeeper Ingmar Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gräddö's Sven-Oskar Kämpe got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Aron Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Vikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Ek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Karl Hellqvist came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Hellqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Edgar Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Karl Hellqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ingmar Vikström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Gräddö getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ivan Hedlund hit a great ball. If Karl Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Ahlroht hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gräddö players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for IFK Göteborg.
