In the 8th match minute, Nordmaling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Blom to maneuver through the defense. If Lennart Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lennart Kilstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Ahlfors having to interfere. If Elof Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lennart Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Ahlfors made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Kilstedt in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Elof Kilstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östergmalms FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elof Kilstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Ahlfors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrik Gadd might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eli Fournier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Gadd ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolf Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Västlund made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Lennart Kilstedt made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Ahlfors. Nordmaling's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Elof Kilstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Ferm hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Östergmalms FK's corner Marko Nordin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolf Ahlfors quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nordmaling's zone, Lennart Kilstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Ahlfors came out of the goal and Lennart Kilstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elof Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Nyman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Christopher Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Lennart Kilstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nordmaling's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Kilstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rolf Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Elof Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östergmalms FK's Gustav Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Östergmalms FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
