The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charlie Skarkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Kellberg in the 6th minute of play forced Bergshamra FF's goalkeeper Charlie Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When John Lövkvist came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Bergshamra FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Lövkvist couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Borussia Dortmund's Charlie Skarkman threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johan Kellberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Johan Kellberg struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Charlie Skarkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Johan Kellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Skarkman having to interfere. In the 18th minute Johan Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Lövkvist in the 19th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Ludvig Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borussia Dortmund's Ludvig Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Lövkvist in the 25th minute of play. Johan Kellberg succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Charlie Skarkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Kellberg's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Axel Gallberg. Axel Gallberg's late challenge caught a Bergshamra FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Gallberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Gallberg to maneuver through the defense. Ludvig Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Lövkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bergshamra FF's goalkeeper Charlie Skarkman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Bergshamra FF's goal looked a bit too open when Per Zachrisson came free, but Charlie Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bergshamra FF's Charlie Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Zachrisson in the 65th minute of play. John Lövkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ludvig Eliasson made a huge save. Charlie Skarkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Zachrisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Burman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergshamra FF's Charlie Skarkman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustaf Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Bergshamra FF's goal looked a bit too open when Per Zachrisson came free, but Charlie Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Zachrisson in the 87th minute of play forced Bergshamra FF's goalkeeper Charlie Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Per Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Skarkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Strömqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charlie Skarkman having to make a save. Christer Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Charlie Skarkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlie Skarkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Zachrisson in the 94th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
