An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Jonsson in the 23rd minute of play forced Sandöverken's goalkeeper Torsten Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Hedlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Torsten Dahlbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Rudolf Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandöverken's Torsten Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jonsson in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Sandöverken getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kjell-Arne Fribäck hit a great ball. Krister Wallman, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sandöverken's Torsten Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jonsson in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Rudolf Hedlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandöverken's Torsten Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Jonsson in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ola Rosen made a kick off. Sandöverken's Gösta Dalman got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jens-Ola Rosen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Västlund was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Andreas Jonsson scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Dahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st match minute, Sandöverken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Vall to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Dalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Västlund having to interfere. Herbert Lindberg hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Boddingtons FC's George Västlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Boddingtons FC from getting a goal against them. Rudolf Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Torsten Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Axelsson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Herbert Lindberg charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Lindberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Herbert Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Hedlund in the 93rd minute of the match. Torsten Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Boddingtons FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
