Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jens-Ola Rosen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Stig-Arne Wik kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Rosen in the 4th minute of play forced Kristinehamn's goalkeeper Patric Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Kristinehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Pihl to maneuver through the defense. If Gösta Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Rosen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Dahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Falkrans's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sandöverken's Jens-Ola Rosen got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gösta Dalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jens-Ola Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandöverken's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ola Rosen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Blixt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent Nordlander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Falkrans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Falkrans in the 43rd minute of the match. Christer Falkrans scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Dahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Kristinehamn were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th match minute, Kristinehamn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Dalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ola Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Nordlander got free with Torsten Dahlbom in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gösta Dalman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Ola Rosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patric Blixt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ola Rosen ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Stig-Arne Wik in the 69th minute really tested Torsten Dahlbom's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71st minute, Jens-Ola Rosen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kristinehamn's Måns Skoog got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 83rd minute Jens-Ola Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patric Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Dalman in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Kristinehamn's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Rosen came free, but Patric Blixt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kristinehamn booed when Sandöverken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Dalman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ola Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell-Arne Fribäck charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell-Arne Fribäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chants of Kristinehamn echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sandöverken had held the ball for most of the match.
