Jon Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sigvard Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Kruuse in the 9th minute of the match. Einar Sandberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Jon Petersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Nordlander. Lövestad IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon Petersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jon Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Nordlander having to interfere. Sigvard Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Håkansson in the 29th minute of the match. Oskar Kruuse scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sigvard Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eddie Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Nordlander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Petersson in the 44th minute of the match. Oskar Kruuse struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Sigvard Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lövestad IK. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Kruuse made a kick off. Sigvard Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Viggo Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Nordlander having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Jon Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Nordlander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Nordlander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Petersson in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Lars-Erik Alebom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagersta and the Lövestad IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 minutes of play Fagersta's Lars-Erik Alebom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Fagersta's Lars-Erik Alebom got a free kick in the 70th minute. Fagersta's Sigvard Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Kruuse in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Viggo Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Viggo Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Nordlander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vidar Håkansson succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fagersta's zone, Eddie Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Vassenius came out of the goal and Eddie Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Lövestad IK's Oskar Kruuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sigvard Vassenius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92ndth minute of the game Oskar Kruuse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fagersta's Sigvard Vassenius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Oskar Kruuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Lövestad IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
