The Madagascar Gegenpressing players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Åsarp were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Kjell Pihlblad made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Patrick Ahlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Tidén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gunnar Eliasson made a huge save. Patrick Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Madagascar Gegenpressing's Gunnar Eliasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Madagascar Gegenpressing from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Kjell Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Pihlblad might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Eliasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kjell Pihlblad ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Åsarp's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Bern came free, but Arne Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Flinck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Wenerdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Madagascar Gegenpressing's Gunnar Eliasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Madagascar Gegenpressing from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Boman during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Madagascar Gegenpressing's Stefan Boman got a free kick in the 88th minute. Gunnar Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Pihlblad in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Robert Josefsson managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The Madagascar Gegenpressing fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Åsarp were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
