Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kjell Pihlblad got the match started through his kick off. Åsarp's Arne Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Stenman in the 6th minute of play. Rönnäng's Patrik Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Rönnäng's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Pihlblad came free, but Gustaf Mager reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Wenerdahl having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Joseph Tidén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åsarp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Peter Pålsson's late challenge caught a Åsarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Pålsson helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Pålsson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Åsarp's Joseph Tidén got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arne Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Rönnäng's Patrik Hjälm. But to his dismay, Patrik Hjälm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jon Stenman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Wenerdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon Stenman in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Wenerdahl saved Åsarp from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Fredric Dahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes, Otto Tidéksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsarp and the Rönnäng players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Åsarp's Otto Tidéksson got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åsarp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marc Odén was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnäng's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marc Odén got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arne Wenerdahl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Hjälm to make the kick off. Jon Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Wenerdahl having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Fredric Dahlqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaf Mager was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Rönnäng's Gustaf Mager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Pihlblad in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsarp's goalkeeper Arne Wenerdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Åsarp's zone, Patrik Hjälm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Wenerdahl came out of the goal and Patrik Hjälm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Wenerdahl made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jon Stenman sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Åsarp getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kjell Pihlblad hit a great ball. If Joseph Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
