Marcus Hård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Jonsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th match minute, FC Metropol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Tony Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Johannes Jonsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marko Askelöf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ionuț Budianu in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herbert Kihlberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Douglas Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Erik Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, FC Metropol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Grelsson to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, FC Metropol's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Knutsson came free, but Marko Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th play minute Ionuț Budianu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Herbert Kihlberg. 1-1. Conny Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Metropol's Marko Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Jonsson in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Knutsson was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Erik Dahlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Metropol and the Munkedal IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herbert Kihlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionuț Budianu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A collision led to FC Metropol getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nofäl Äzizov hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, FC Metropol's goalkeeper Marko Askelöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Jonsson. Ionuț Budianu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Herbert Kihlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Metropol. After having played for 94 minutes, Ionuț Budianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Metropol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Budianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Metropol's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
