After 53 minutes of play, Åsbro's Markus Ekgren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Walroth was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 played minutes Åsbro got a freekick which was hit by Bo Håkansson. Tommy Trulsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Hellkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Trulsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Åsbro's zone, Bo-Erik Stabbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Hellkvist came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Stabbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Trulsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but André Hellkvist made a huge save. Folke Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Nyström in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Åsbro's David Nyström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Walroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Vännäsby FK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Folke Ivarsson hit a great ball. Folke Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Ekgren's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Trulsson got free with André Hellkvist in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Håkansson charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Håkansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Åsbro got a freekick which was hit by Bo Håkansson. When Folke Ivarsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Åsbro's Markus Ekgren got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Markus Ekgren got the opportunity to take care of a free kick, it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball hit the crossbar and flew out of bounds. Tommy Trulsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but André Hellkvist made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Bo Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Rolf Josefsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Åsbro's André Hellkvist didn't even have to move. Tommy Trulsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. André Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Åsbro support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
