Fredrik Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Ek having to interfere. Viggo Hansson scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oskar Stabbe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Fanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Fredrik Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Markus Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fredrik Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Norberg BF got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Malm. Oskar Stabbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Fanström in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Hellström to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Vattholma got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Westerstrand. The supporters of Vattholma booed when Norberg BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Malm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Stabbe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lennart Stenberg's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Norberg BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vattholma the free kick. After 88 played minutes Norberg BF got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Palm. Fredrik Hellström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Ek having to make a save. Vattholma's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
