Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Per-Olof Tomasson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match, John Kielstedt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Odén was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute, Sten Hök made a precise shot to the right of Jan Odin. Ryd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Arne Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alexander Odén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Nye got a freekick which was hit by Per-Olof Tomasson. Sten Almstedt struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alexander Odén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryd. When Sten Hök came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Nye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Hök couldn't finish the play. Herman Arenius hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sten Hök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Tor Kock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Kielstedt scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Odén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Sten Almstedt made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jens-Ove Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Olof Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Odin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ryd's Magnus Bjursell got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sten Hök took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Odin. Jan Odin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Hök in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Odin saved Ryd from getting behind. A collision led to Ryd getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jens-Ove Örtendal hit a great ball. Jan Odin made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Sten Hök sent off a good shot on target. Jan Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Per-Olof Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nye's Tor Kock got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Sten Almstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nye's Alexander Odén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Odén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Almstedt in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Ryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. Jan Odin was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Per-Olof Tomasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per-Olof Tomasson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Nye's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
