Per-Arne Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Forss's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Victor Hedman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Niclas Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes, Richard Björkkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åhus RK and the Lögdeå players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristian Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dick Falk hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Bertil Bergendahl, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Niclas Backman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lögdeå's Ralf Täman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulf Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Hedman having to interfere. Rolf Forss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Victor Hedman made a huge save. Victor Hedman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Forss in the 36th minute. Rolf Forss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Victor Hedman made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ulf Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niclas Backman was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th play minute Kristian Holmgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ralf Täman. 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, Dick Falk notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Åhus RK's Victor Hedman. Victor Hedman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolf Forss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Åhus RK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bertil Bergendahl hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus RK's zone, Ulf Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Hedman came out of the goal and Ulf Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ulf Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Hedman was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Kristian Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Täman having to interfere. Niclas Backman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Täman having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dick Falk during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Dick Falk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. The Lögdeå supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Åhus RK's performance. The match ended with a win for Åhus RK.
