Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kjell Torsberg made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Gästrike-hammarby booed when Jäckvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Dusett didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Lucas Sjöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jäckvik's zone, Dan Kullander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Alén came out of the goal and Dan Kullander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Torsberg in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match, Alex Dusett tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göran Häll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute Sven-Oskar Sandwall suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Erik Göransson during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Göran Häll was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sten Uggstedt. Richard Gunnarsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Göran Häll could save by the left post. If Richard Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Åman in the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Åman during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Gästrike-hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Åman. In the 41st match minute, Jäckvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Dusett to maneuver through the defense. Richard Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dan Kullander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gästrike-hammarby's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Kullander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Alén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Jäckvik's zone, Dan Kullander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Alén came out of the goal and Dan Kullander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kullander in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Kullander in the 71st minute of play forced Jäckvik's goalkeeper Victor Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gästrike-hammarby's Göran Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gunnarsson in the 74th minute of play. Kjell Torsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Victor Alén made a huge save. Kjell Torsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Alén having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Gustav Åman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Alén. Jäckvik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Åman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Victor Alén made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Kjell Torsberg sent off a good shot on target. Dan Kullander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Victor Alén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gästrike-hammarby's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
