In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mighty Kites FC's goalkeeper Börje Holmgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sonny Samuelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Åke Lundin having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Paulin got free with Börje Holmgren in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl Paulin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Mighty Kites FC's zone, Rune Lindberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Holmgren came out of the goal and Rune Lindberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reine Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Fellingsbro got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Lundin. In the 33rd minute of the match Reine Tinglöf sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Åke Lundin skillfully saved the ball. Jens-Åke Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Söderström in the 37th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Samuelsson in the 40th minute of play forced Fellingsbro's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Samuelsson in the 45th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Lindberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Sonny Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the game, Mighty Kites FC's Olof Söderström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Åke Lundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Fellingsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Samuelsson came free, but Jens-Åke Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Lundin came out of the goal and Olof Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fellingsbro's Jens-Åke Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Samuelsson in the 71st minute of play. Carl Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Holmgren having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Arvidsson during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Mighty Kites FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Arvidsson. Jens-Åke Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Samuelsson in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Mighty Kites FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Mighty Kites FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Paulin came free, but Börje Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mighty Kites FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Börje Holmgren had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfons Algren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Börje Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Lundin in the 99th minute of play. Carl Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Börje Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
