Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filip Nordlander started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Kellbom got free with Hans Ahlström in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the game, Peter Hjortsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Säffle FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nora FF the free kick. The supporters of Säffle FF booed when Nora FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Elg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filip Nordlander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Alkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Peter Hjortsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrik Alkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Hjortsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Nora FF got a freekick which was hit by John Bäckman . Karl-Johan Mager missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 26 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Henrik Alkvist right hand side. Säffle FF's Hans Ahlström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Säffle FF from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Nora FF's Pontus Wennerlund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pontus Wennerlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Ahlström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nora FF's zone, Peter Hjortsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Alkvist came out of the goal and Peter Hjortsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Nora FF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Karl Stabbe hit a great ball. Filip Nordlander might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Alkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Nordlander ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Hjortsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Henrik Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Filip Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Nora FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Bäckman to maneuver through the defense. If Karl-Johan Mager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Pontus Wennerlund made the kick off in the second half. Filip Nordlander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Alkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Pontus Wennerlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Peter Hjortsberg made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Alkvist. Nora FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Peter Hjortsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nora FF's Sten Haglund got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Nordlander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Alkvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nora FF's John Bäckman got a free kick in the 89th minute. Henrik Alkvist made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Karl-Johan Mager sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Säffle FF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
