Egil Strömqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Holm having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Egil Strömqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bredsidastolpein FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Torgny Nordkvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rolf Blixt. 39 minutes into the match, Bertil Kollberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konrad Holm. Östra Karup IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Kollberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Per Bolander fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredsidastolpein FF's protests and gave Per Bolander a yellow card for diving instead. If Mikael Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egil Strömqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Egil Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Konrad Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56th play minutes Egil Strömqvist shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Konrad Holm and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 60th minute, Egil Strömqvist made a precise shot to the right of Konrad Holm. Östra Karup IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Urban Holmgren hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Sivert Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Östra Karup IF booed when Bredsidastolpein FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Stolpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Egil Strömqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egil Strömqvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Konrad Holm 82 minutes into the match. Gottfrid Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egil Strömqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Holm having to interfere. Konrad Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Jönsson in the 94th minute of the match. The Östra Karup IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bredsidastolpein FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Bredsidastolpein FF.
