The supporters of Bromölla booed when FC Freij was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Bergfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilgot Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Åke Hedvall charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Åke Hedvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bromölla getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Stig-Åke Hedvall hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Freij booed when Bromölla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Sjö didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Felix Wennerberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bromölla's Alfons Hedlund didn't even have to move. Ragnar Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Ahlroht having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Herman Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Olofsson in the 28th minute of play forced Bromölla's goalkeeper Alfons Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bromölla's Alfons Hedlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Olofsson in the 30th minute of play. Alfons Hedlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Biörnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bo Fanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Per-Oskar Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Vilgot Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilgot Biörnberg made a kick off. Per-Oskar Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Hedlund was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Vilgot Biörnberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilgot Biörnberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Simon Stenström hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Per-Oskar Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bromölla's zone, Per-Oskar Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Hedlund came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bromölla's Alfons Hedlund got control of the ball when Per-Oskar Olofsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Freij's Vilgot Biörnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilgot Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alfons Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Freij played a much better game than Bromölla and deserved their victory. The Bromölla players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
