In the 2nd minute, one of Tygelsjö:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tygelsjö. In the 10th minute Sverker Stigsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Grebbestad getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Per-Åke Bergvall hit a great ball. Sverker Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Gustafsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Sverker Stigsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tygelsjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Sverker Stigsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Tygelsjö's goalkeeper Patrik Ahlén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stellan Gustavsson. Sverker Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Gustafsson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grebbestad's zone, Sverker Stigsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Gustafsson came out of the goal and Sverker Stigsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Stigsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Sverker Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Grebbestad getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. John Vase hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Claes Göransson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Gustafsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Stellan Gustavsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Tygelsjö's Patrik Ahlén got control of the ball when Stellan Gustavsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rikard Jansson fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tygelsjö's protests and gave Rikard Jansson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tygelsjö's Rikard Jansson got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Johansson to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Grebbestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Lindkvist to maneuver through the defense. Stellan Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Ahlén having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sverker Wallin in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Gustafsson saved Grebbestad from getting behind. Patrik Ahlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Gustavsson in the 70th minute of the match. Patrik Ahlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stellan Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Ahlén having to interfere. Anton Johansson scored 1-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Ahlén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrik Ahlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Grebbestad fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tygelsjö had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
