Gustaf Bäcklin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Målare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaf Bäcklin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Målare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gustaf Bäcklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Christoffersson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Mathias Målare scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaf Bäcklin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Ludwig Lingren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Lingren got free with Karl-Oskar Tillman in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Karl-Oskar Tillman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The wind increased when Göran Mårtensson made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Lucas Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Målare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gustaf Bäcklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kista booed when Bor IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ludwig Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Bergqvist hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Bor IF got a freekick which was hit by Göran Mårtensson. Ludwig Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ludwig Lingren came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Bor IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Lingren couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Göran Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Karl-Oskar Tillman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bor IF. The audience was convinced that Mathias Målare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Bäcklin was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Lucas Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Tillman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Mårtensson in the 95th minute of the match. Bor IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johan Åhlberg in the 97th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Manfred Bergqvist heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Kista supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kista would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
