Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kent Lindmark was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per Fredriksson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Kent Lindmark made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when George Björck sent off a good shot on target. Per Fredriksson scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Lindmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Per Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kent Lindmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Fredriksson in the 22nd minute of play forced Hällefors RK's goalkeeper Kent Lindmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Michael Mickelsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kent Lindmark. Michael Mickelsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 29th minute, Michael Mickelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kent Lindmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Mickelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Nyman took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Västerberg. Inge Västerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Kent Lindmark was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jens-Erik Billström. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sonny Nord was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, George Björck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Lindmark. Hällefors RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Björck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Sonny Nord blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inge Västerberg having to make a save. Josef Tomasson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Hällefors RK got a freekick which was hit by Egon Nyman. When Hällefors RK's Sonny Nord in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hova's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Gustav Eckegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällefors RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Eckegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hällefors RK's Egon Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sonny Nord took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Västerberg. Inge Västerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. If Sonny Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Björck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kent Lindmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Jens-Ola Isaksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inge Västerberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute, Hova's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sonny Nord fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kent Lindmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Lindmark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Fredriksson went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Hällefors RK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
