Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Hova got a freekick which was hit by Elof Hultin. With splendid footwork Timmy Hultman arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 3rd minute. A collision led to Södertälje FK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Göran Johnsson hit a great ball. Thor Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Mickelsson in the 15th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Hova's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Hultman came free, but Inge Västerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Fredrik Dahlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södertälje FK the free kick. Fredrik Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play Hova's Fredrik Dahlberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 46 played minutes Hova got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Dahlberg.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Björck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inge Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Hultman in the 64th minute of play. Göran Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Västerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Johnsson's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Göran Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Västerberg having to interfere. Inge Västerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Johnsson in the 80th minute of play. When George Björck came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Björck couldn't finish the play.
