Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arild's Ernst Erserman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hällefors RK were furious when Krister Tidéksson was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Hällefors RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arild:s goal. Ralf Ahlström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Egon Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arild's Ernst Erserman got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Berglund charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Berglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Arild booed when Hällefors RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Arild's Birger Persson in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Gustav Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hällefors RK's Kent Lindmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Erserman in the 28th minute of play. Valentin Dahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mattias Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Algot Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Sandström having to interfere. It was joyful for the audience to see Gustav Eckegren dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 48th played minute and put the ball into the net. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algot Wallin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Ödmann during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Arild was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Ödmann to maneuver through the defense. Tor Nyberg's late challenge caught a Arild's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor Nyberg helped the player get up and apologised. Ralf Ahlström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Hällefors RK's zone, Kim Igelström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Lindmark came out of the goal and Kim Igelström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Wallin in the 70th minute of play. Kim Igelström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Kent Lindmark made a huge save. After having played for 76 minutes, Algot Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällefors RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algot Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Igelström in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Lindmark saved Hällefors RK from getting behind. In the 85th minute Algot Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Sandström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egon Nyman went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Hällefors RK's goalkeeper Kent Lindmark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Persson. In the 97th minute, Ernst Erserman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kent Lindmark, passed just outside the right post. In the 100th minute, Kim Igelström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kent Lindmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arild players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hällefors RK.
