Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hällefors RK's Tor Berglund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Timmy Hultman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kent Lindmark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pär Nordmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kent Lindmark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pär Nordmark ran back to his position shaking his head. Kent Lindmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Nordmark in the 9th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Göran Johnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Lindmark was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 12 played minutes Hällefors RK got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Nord. Tor Berglund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Thor Lundhberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gustav Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krister Tidéksson charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krister Tidéksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Krister Tidéksson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Martin Groth kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Krister Tidéksson from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Thor Lundhberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hällefors RK's Tor Berglund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Hällefors RK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sonny Nord hit a great ball. Stig Eriksson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ola Isaksson during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Hällefors RK's zone, Stig Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Lindmark came out of the goal and Stig Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, Hällefors RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Nord to maneuver through the defense. Tor Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Lundhberg having to interfere. Tor Berglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Hultman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hällefors RK's Tor Berglund got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Hällefors RK's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Bållström came free, but Kent Lindmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Lindmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Nordmark in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Berglund in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Lundhberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tor Berglund struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Thor Lundhberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hällefors RK. After 71 minutes, Tor Berglund made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Södertälje FK's Thor Lundhberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tor Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Berglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes, Tor Berglund made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Södertälje FK's Thor Lundhberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Tor Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hällefors RK's Kent Lindmark got control of the ball when Göran Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Göran Johnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Kent Lindmark made a huge save. The supporters of Södertälje FK booed when Hällefors RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Södertälje FK's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 88th minute of the game, when Stig Eriksson after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Hällefors RK's goal. Stig Eriksson was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Tor Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällefors RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
