Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Thomas Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uttran's goalkeeper Ove Åman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Finspång IFK's Christopher Dahlqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ove Åman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Erik Wallin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valter Wållander saved Finspång IFK from getting behind. Joar Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Wallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valter Wållander. Finspång IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Wallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, Finspång IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Stålman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gunnar Hedkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uttran's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Hedkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Wållander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sven-Erik Wallin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Uttran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Erik Wallin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Christopher Dahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finspång IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Dahlqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Åman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ove Åman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Dahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Uttran were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Uttran's Joar Olsman got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Hans Stålman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st play minute Sven-Erik Wallin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valter Wållander. 0-2. Uttran's Ove Åman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Bergqvist in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Finspång IFK's zone, Sven-Erik Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Wållander came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Sven-Erik Wallin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Uttran's zone, Lennart Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Åman came out of the goal and Lennart Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Sven-Erik Wallin made a precise shot to the right of Valter Wållander. Finspång IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Ove Åman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Dahlqvist in the 90th minute of the match. Gunnar Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ingvar Petersson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Uttran could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Finspång IFK throughout the match.
