After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ian Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vormsele BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Sävström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Arne Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingmar Hedström succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Vallåkra BK's goal looked a bit too open when August Persson came free, but Bengt-Arne Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Sävström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bengt-Arne Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Vallåkra BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Ström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Vormsele BK booed when Vallåkra BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Ström during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Vallåkra BK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bengt-Arne Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Sävström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Vallåkra BK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Stålberg. The audience held their breath when Bo-Erik Ekrot in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bengt-Arne Martinsson's left hand side. Ingmar Hedström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
