Thomas Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Malmgren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sävar's Jon Isaksson got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Gert Lindman came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Riddarhyttan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Lindman couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Gert Lindman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sävar's Leonardo Malmgren. Leonardo Malmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gert Lindman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leonardo Malmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Riddarhyttan got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Bryngelsson. When Thomas Hård, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Leonardo Malmgren was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Uno Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gert Lindman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Malmgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thomas Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Thomas Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riddarhyttan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Hård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Riddarhyttan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Bryngelsson to maneuver through the defense. Erland Arvidsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riddarhyttan's Gösta Kellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jon Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävar's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Thomas Hård came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Riddarhyttan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Hård couldn't finish the play. Uno Hultin's late challenge caught a Riddarhyttan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uno Hultin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sävar getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Uno Hultin hit a great ball. During the 63rd minute of the match Uno Hultin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Uno Hultin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Sävar's Uno Hultin got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Riddarhyttan's Gert Lindman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Malmgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Sävar getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tom Paulin hit a great ball. Sävar's Leonardo Malmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Lindman in the 90th minute of play. When Erland Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Sävar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Arvidsson couldn't finish the play.
