Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Orvar Hellbom made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Malmberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Arvika's goalkeeper Vilhelm Ekelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tord Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Ekelund having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Hasselfors FK's Roger Malmberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Ekelund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl-Åke Lindblom might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mark Nykvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Lindblom ran back to his position shaking his head. Viktor Fransson's late challenge caught a Arvika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Fransson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arvika booed when Hasselfors FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Roger Malmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Ekelund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With an all-out effort, Arvika's Mark Nykvist threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orvar Hellbom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karl-Åke Lindblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mark Nykvist made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Tord Sundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Ekelund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Arvika's Vilhelm Ekelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Malmberg in the 39th minute of play. If Roger Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Roger Malmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hasselfors FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Arvika players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hasselfors FK were winning 0-4.

In the 52nd minute, Karl-Åke Lindblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Nykvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Hellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Karl-Åke Lindblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Karl-Åke Lindblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arvika's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Åke Lindblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvika's Robert Hurtig suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. Mattias Johnsson's late challenge caught a Arvika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Johnsson helped the player get up and apologised. Arvika's Thomas Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tord Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vilhelm Ekelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hasselfors FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
