If Sven-Ove Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Ove Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jan-Ove Simonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Ahlstedt having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match Daniel Åberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudolf Ahlstedt skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sven-Ove Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alunda's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Simonsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 26 minutes, Sven-Ove Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alunda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Ove Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AS Sockenplan's Jan-Ove Simonsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save AS Sockenplan from getting a goal against them. Sven-Ove Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Ekeroth made a kick off. If Leonardo Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Ove Simonsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens Lundgren went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jens Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Simonsson was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Telin during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in AS Sockenplan's zone, Jens Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Simonsson came out of the goal and Jens Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Jens Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Alunda booed when AS Sockenplan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Nord didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens Lundgren took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Ove Simonsson. Jan-Ove Simonsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alunda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AS Sockenplan for a fine match.
