In the 92nd minute, Georg Sikström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgar Bolin, passed just outside the right post. The Äppelbo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Äppelbo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
