The referee ignored Hulesjöns BK's protests and gave Emanuel Wallgren a yellow card for diving instead. Börge Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Villiam Boklund sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Viktor Rudberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Västberg was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Bengtsson was the one to do the kick off. Hulesjöns BK's Börge Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Sikström in the 52nd minute of play. Börge Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Äppelbo booed when Hulesjöns BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Wallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Äppelbo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villiam Boklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Äppelbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Vallander to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Rudberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jimmy Västberg made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Äppelbo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Svante Bengtsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Viktor Rudberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hulesjöns BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Rudberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Västberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Äppelbo's Carl Bergendahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börge Mattsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hulesjöns BK's Tim Abelsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute of the match Äppelbo got a corner. Hulesjöns BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ture Stensson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ture Stensson made a great header on Äppelbo's corner, it was just that Hulesjöns BK's Börge Mattsson managed to reach the ball for a save.
