The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustaf Skytt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Uno Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Rudkvist during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Tullinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Rudkvist to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Arne Vollander's late challenge caught a Tullinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Arne Vollander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Tullinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Skytt to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Falkrantz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ballingslöv BK's Stig Valström got a free kick in the 24th minute. Malcolm Lundqvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes Tullinge got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Pihlberg. If Edwin Grönlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Arne Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes Ballingslöv BK got a freekick which was hit by Stig Valström. In the 41st minute, Jens-Ola Pihlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tullinge's zone, Edwin Grönlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Örn came out of the goal and Edwin Grönlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tullinge getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Per-Erik Kristiansson hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Tommy Nordgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Örn skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Arne Vollander to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Uno Wall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tullinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uno Wall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes Ballingslöv BK got a freekick which was hit by Stig Valström. After a defensive mix-up in Tullinge's zone, Sven-Arne Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Örn came out of the goal and Sven-Arne Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uno Wall in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Arne Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uno Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Aron Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tullinge's Alfred Örn got control of the ball when Edwin Grönlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
