Emil Britz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Åke Wennerlund's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Dag Mattsson's late challenge caught a Tullinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dag Mattsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Billeberga RK got a freekick which was hit by Dag Mattsson. If Uno Wall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Britz having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Roger Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tullinge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billeberga RK the free kick. After 18 played minutes Tullinge got a freekick which was hit by Roger Sjöberg. Billeberga RK's Emil Britz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Billeberga RK from getting a goal against them. Tullinge's Roger Sjöberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Roger Sjöberg off the ground. Roger Sjöberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tullinge's zone, Kåre Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Örn came out of the goal and Kåre Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tullinge's Alfred Örn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Mårtensson in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Fabian Nordstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Örn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 38th minute Kåre Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Örn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Karl-Åke Wennerlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tullinge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billeberga RK the free kick. Ernst Myhr, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alfred Örn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kåre Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dag Mattsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Staffan Månsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Bengt Stenqvist fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Billeberga RK's protests and gave Bengt Stenqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Bengt Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tullinge's goalkeeper Alfred Örn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfred Örn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Nordstedt in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Billeberga RK's Kåre Mårtensson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfred Örn. That made the score 0-2 after 71 minutes of play. After 82 played minutes Tullinge got a freekick which was hit by Uno Wall. Kåre Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billeberga RK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
