With his leg Karl-Johan Landin managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Altersbruk RK's Melker Stigsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Per Kristiansson put in a rough tackle. Axel Billberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Spets's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Altersbruk RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Lingren to maneuver through the defense. If Markus Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Altersbruk RK's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Petersson came free, but Axel Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Régis Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Axel Billberg made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Markus Spets sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute of the match, Markus Spets got a very nice opportunity to score, but Axel Billberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elias Västberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Landin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Altersbruk RK's Melker Stigsson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The long shot by Joachim Lennartsson in the 64th minute really tested Axel Billberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Karl-Johan Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Tande in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Herman Lingren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lövestad's Karl-Johan Landin. Karl-Johan Landin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 72 played minutes, Altersbruk RK's Inge Harlén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Johan Landin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altersbruk RK reached it. After some careless play in the Lövestad defense, Régis Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Johan Landin. The Lövestad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Johan Landin should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Altersbruk RK's Herman Lingren got a free kick in the 78th minute. Arvin Petersson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Axel Billberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lövestad. Karl-Johan Landin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Tande's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Lövestad's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Tande came free, but Karl-Johan Landin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Västberg took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Landin. Karl-Johan Landin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Lövestad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
