In the 40th minute, Walter Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredric Runeberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joakim Gullesson in the 44th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Kilman to make the kick off. Harry Ek came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Axel Smed could save by the left post. In the 69th minute Jens-Ove Botvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 75 in the game by Sven-Erik Dahlberg from a close distance when the talented Axel Smed managed to make a qualified save. Sköldinge's players were relieved. Sköldinge's Axel Smed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sköldinge from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sköldinge's Carl Adelsköld got a free kick in the 85th minute. Axel Smed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Botvidsson in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sköldinge's goalkeeper Axel Smed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joakim Gullesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Runeberg having to interfere. Carl Adelsköld hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over Lyrestad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sköldinge throughout the match.
