In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Väröbacka's goalkeeper Sverker Thorsberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Helström made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Väröbacka's goalkeeper Sverker Thorsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isac Tinglöf. After a rather tough play, Väröbacka's Peter Öfverman got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Ernst Helström came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Vännäsby RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Helström couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Wennerlund's late challenge caught a Väröbacka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Väröbacka had won after a very even match.
