Torgny Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Browald having to interfere. Kenny Nyman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Bengt-Arne Browald skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Michael Söderström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mörsil FK's Kjell Rönn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Mölndal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck couldn't finish the play. In the 21stth minute of the game Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mörsil FK's Kjell Rönn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kenny Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mölndal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Mölndal's Bengt-Arne Browald got control of the ball when Kenny Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Lindholm during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Gustav Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Söderström in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Rönn prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Fredriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Kenny Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Browald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Rönn saved Mörsil FK from getting behind. Dan Jelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Rönn having to interfere. The supporters of Mölndal booed when Mörsil FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Kenny Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Browald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck rounded Mörsil FK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The supporters of Mölndal booed when Mörsil FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenny Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Rönn having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Mörsil FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck came free, but Kjell Rönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Bernt Göransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mörsil FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mölndal the free kick. 92 minutes into the match, Mörsil FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck came free, but Kjell Rönn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Rönn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Mörsil FK's Gustav Lindholm made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Arne Browald was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mörsil FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mölndal for a fine match.
