Köpingsvik's Ludvig Christoffersson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Köpingsvik's Magnus Paulin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pelle Bålström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magnus Paulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelle Bålström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Hubert Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hasselfors booed when Köpingsvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christian Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Christian Björnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jens-Erik Forssell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes Köpingsvik got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Hellkvist. Valter Rudkvist was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Christian Björnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jens-Erik Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Köpingsvik's Magnus Paulin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pelle Bålström was left in no man's land by his defense there!
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magnus Paulin to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Ronny Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Forssell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelle Bålström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Lövskog in the 57th minute of the match. Pelle Bålström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Åke Lövskog's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes, Ludvig Christoffersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Köpingsvik and the Hasselfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hasselfors booed when Köpingsvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Ekberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Köpingsvik's Ludvig Christoffersson got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ronny Ekberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Forssell having to interfere. With a little luck, Köpingsvik's Jens-Erik Forssell got control of the ball when Christian Björnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Jens-Åke Lövskog notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hasselfors's Pelle Bålström. Pelle Bålström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Magnus Paulin's late challenge caught a Hasselfors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magnus Paulin helped the player get up and apologised. Magnus Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hasselfors's Valter Rudkvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Köpingsvik. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Björnsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Jens-Erik Forssell however easily saved by the left post. Jonny Hellkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Hellkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonny Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Björnsson got free with Jens-Erik Forssell in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
