The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christopher Säf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Kjellberg in the 9th minute of the match. Jan Alebeck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kent Stenquist went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Pelle Högström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Alebeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Kent Stenquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pelle Högström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Birger Kjellberg scored 1-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christopher Säf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Stenquist struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jan Alebeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steakhouse FC. 31 minutes into the game, Steakhouse FC's Kent Stenquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Alebeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Jan Alebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Billing, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Stellan Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Steakhouse FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edward Alefors hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birger Kjellberg was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Steakhouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Kjellberg came free, but Christopher Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Pelle Högström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steakhouse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelle Högström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Jan Alebeck managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Steakhouse FC's Kent Stenquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Olof Pååk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Stellan Billing might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Alebeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stellan Billing ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the game, Steakhouse FC's Kent Stenquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Alebeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. With his leg Jan Alebeck managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Steakhouse FC's Kent Stenquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Kent Stenquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Alebeck was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Alvin Magnusson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Alebeck having to make a save. Rune Eskilsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Pelle Högström came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Steakhouse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Högström couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Pelle Högström fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan Alebeck, passed just outside the right post. Olof Pååk hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Kent Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Steakhouse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Kjellberg came free, but Christopher Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Grundsund fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Steakhouse FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
