An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Forsman in the 42nd minute of play forced Månsarp's goalkeeper Ivar Wennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Brantevik players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Månsarp were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Algren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brantevik's Roy Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvin Algren might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Brolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvin Algren ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvin Algren struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Åke Brolin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Månsarp. Roy Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ivar Wennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Månsarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Vallander to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Wennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Verner Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Wennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Månsarp walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
