Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alvin Algren kicked off to start the match. After recieving a nice pass, Röfors IFK's Kjell Bank tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ivan Näver's late challenge caught a Månsarp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Näver helped the player get up and apologised. Ivan Näver kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Röfors IFK's Sven-Åke Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Skark in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Månsarp's Allan Vallander got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of Månsarp booed when Röfors IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Harry Engman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Röfors IFK's Sven-Åke Öberg didn't even have to move. Alvin Algren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sven-Åke Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Holm during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Månsarp were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Röfors IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry Engman took the corner. After 31 minutes, Olov Giöck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Månsarp and the Röfors IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Olov Giöck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Ahlroth struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ivar Wennerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Röfors IFK. Ivar Wennerström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Ahlroth's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Edvin Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Röfors IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Andersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Wennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Wennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Ahlroth in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Ahlroth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Pål Skark notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Röfors IFK's Sven-Åke Öberg. Sven-Åke Öberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 58 minutes of play, Röfors IFK's Jonas Ahlroth made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Wennerström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven-Åke Öberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pål Skark in the 65th minute. If Alvin Algren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Hellsing hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Harry Engman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Röfors IFK's Sven-Åke Öberg didn't even have to move. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Röfors IFK! Röfors IFK's Edvin Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alvin Algren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Månsarp's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvin Algren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Åke Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvin Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Wennerström having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pål Skark got free with Sven-Åke Öberg in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Röfors IFK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Aron Pilgren hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Månsarp walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
