The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Biörkman during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Georg Biörkman hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Vindeln's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Lennartsson came free, but Kenny Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Georg Lennartsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils Gunnarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Gunnarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Grimstorp IK's Nils Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes Vindeln got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Stensson. Kenny Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Hult, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elof Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Otto Hult managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimstorp IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Hult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Hult in the 39th minute of the match. When Grimstorp IK's Otto Hult in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vindeln's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Lennartsson made a kick off. Otto Hult blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenny Bengtsson having to make a save. After 53 played minutes Vindeln got a freekick which was hit by Elias Alebom. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Hult got free with Kenny Bengtsson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otto Hult could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Kenny Bengtsson made a huge save. Elof Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Eliasson in the 61st minute of the match. If Gustaf Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Otto Hult cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kenny Bengtsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Grimstorp IK's Otto Hult sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenny Bengtsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gustaf Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vindeln's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Eliasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elof Söderberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Sven-Olof Täman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vindeln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Olof Täman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaf Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Elof Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
