An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Walroth in the 3rd minute of play forced Skärhamn's goalkeeper Per-Åke Björkdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Finsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Karl-Ove Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Walroth in the 17th minute of play forced Skärhamn's goalkeeper Per-Åke Björkdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Torsten Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Skärhamn's Torsten Finsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olof Smedfeldt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Torsten Finsberg rounded Hudiksvall's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 26 minutes of play, Hudiksvall's Elliott Walroth made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per-Åke Björkdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torsten Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Smedfeldt having to interfere. Skärhamn's Per-Åke Björkdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Walroth in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torsten Finsberg to make the kick off. Elliott Walroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Per-Åke Björkdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Finsberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Torsten Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henry Vacker hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Elliott Walroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Åke Björkdal having to interfere. In the 91st minute of the match Bertil Torstensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olof Smedfeldt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudiksvall's goalkeeper Olof Smedfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henry Vacker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Per-Åke Björkdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skärhamn's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
